Police and fire crews were dispatched to a stretch of Lincoln Avenue on Monday evening in Pelham, where there was reports of a head-on crash that left a vehicle inoperable, with substantial front-end damage.
Officials said that traffic was temporarily tied up on Lincoln Avenue as crews cleaned up following the crash, with several patients treated by paramedics and transported to a local hospital for precautionary treatment.
The roadway was temporarily shut down as crews cleaned up following the crash, before being called in to respond to a drug overdose in a different part of the village. All parties involved in the crash have since been released from the hospital.
