Drug Giveback Day Is Set For Saturday In Pelham

PELHAM, N.Y. – Pelham residents have another opportunity Saturday to turn in dangerous expired, unused and unwanted prescription drugs.

Residents can turn in medications at the Pelham Manor Police Department, 4 Penfield Place, and the Pelham Police Department, 34 Fifth Ave., from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The federal Drug Enforcement Administration is hosting the event with the Pelham PACT Coalition and both police departments to reduce the risk of drug abuse.

The service is free, and people who bring in medications remain anonymous.
