The body of a 26-year-old who worked in Westchester and who disappeared in Manhattan was found in New Jersey Wednesday morning, according to the New York Post.

Joseph Comunale, 26, of Stamford, Conn., had disappeared after last being seen entering an apartment in Manhattan on Sunday, according to multiple media reports. The New York Post reported that he had been partying with friends in the apartment, which was located on East 59th Street near First Avenue.

Comunale worked as a sales associate at Tri-Ed Security Products and Solutions on Executive Boulevard in Elmsford. He graduated from Hofstra University in 2012.

Officials found his body buried in Oceanport, NJ Wednesday morning, according to the New York Post.

The Daily Mail reported Wednesday that blood was found on a luggage cart belonging to a resident of the building, and that a pair of pants belonging to Comunale and bloody sheets were found in a garbage bag nearby.

A source told the New York Post that the resident of the apartment has been taken into custody on an "unrelated incident."
