PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. Items were stolen from both of a Fowler Avenue resident's cars between 1 a.m. and 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 10, Pelham Manor police said. The resident called the police at 1:15 p.m. Saturday to report the incident.
The man told a Pelham Manor officer that his cars were parked in the driveway and unlocked. A $300 Tom Tom GPS was stolen from one vehicle and an unknown amount of change from another.
The following items also were reported by Pelham Manor police:
Medical Call: An Edgewood woman called the police at 6:36 a.m. Monday, July 16, because she was suffering from high blood pressure and needed medical assistance. She was taken by ambulance to Sound Shore Medical Center.
Impaired Vision: A woman parked her car across from the Pelham Manor police headquarters at 3:38 p.m. Monday to seek help because of blurred vision. The Benedict Place woman, whose left eye was impaired, was taken by ambulance to Sound Shore Medical Center.
False Alarm: USA Central called the Pelham Manor police at 7:54 p.m. Monday to report a burglar alarm at Marathon Gold City on Pelham Parkway. The alarm had been accidentally set off by the store owner.
Loud Party: A loud party in the area of Pelhamdale Avenue and Black Street at 12 a.m. Sunday, July 15, prompted calls to the Pelham Manor police and the music being turned off.
Unregistered Vehicle: A Pelham Manor police officer pulled over a driver on the Pelham Parkway at 11:50 a.m. Saturday, July 14, because the vehicle was unregistered. The car was impounded.
