Victoria Walker-Lowen, 70, Former Pelham Resident

YONKERS, N.Y. - Victoria Walker-Lowen of Yonkers died Friday, May 2. She was 70.

Walker-Lowen was born Aug. 22, 1943, in Tallinn, Estonia, to Aino Leppik. She moved to America at age six and grew up in New Rochelle where she graduated high school.

Walker-Lowen raised her children in Pelham, she lived the last 30 years in Yonkers and worked at St. Joseph’s Hospital.

Walker-Lowen is survived by her husband, Daniel Lowen, Jr.; daughters, Traci (Ermenegildo) Daniele, Dawn (Leam) McEvoy and Lori Walker; four granddaughters; sisters Lydia (Frank) Bersito and Sylvia (Hernando) Leppik-Lopez; and nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert "Bobby" Walker.

Calling hours are Monday, May 5 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Pelham Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 6 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 95 Eastchester Road, New Rochelle.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St Luke's Lutheran Church in Walker-Lowen’s memory.
