PELHAM, N.Y. – James Alexander D'Agostino of Pelham died Nov. 1 after a prolonged battle with multiple myeloma. He was 64.
He was born Aug. 7, 1948, in Mount Vernon to Antoinette Fusaro and Liberato D'Agostino. He was a career pilot and flew corporate jets out of Teterboro Airport in New Jersey for more than 40 years. Second only to his family, aviation was his life's passion.
D'Agostino served as a volunteer firefighter for 10 years and president of the hockey association for 14 years.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Kathleen D'Agostino; his mother, Ann; three sons, Kris, Chase and Tom; a brother, John; a sister, Annie; and two grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will begin at 4 p.m. Saturday at 501 Pelhamdale Ave. in Pelham.
