Frank G M Corbin of Pelham

PELHAM, N.Y. -- Frank G M Corbin, of Pelham, died Oct. 17.

He is survived by his children, Catherine and Peter; his daughter-in-law, Annette and his grandchildren Kaitlyn and Caroline.

A graduate of Cardinal Hayes High School, class of 1943, and Fordham University, class of 1950, he served in the U.S. army during World War II as a lieutenant in France, Belgium and Germany.

Corbin had a successful career in public relations, but his true passion was sharing his love of the communications industry with his students at Fordham, where he taught for 59 years.

A celebration of Corbin's life will be held conducted from 7-9 p.m. Monday at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St Catharine's Church 25 Second Ave., Pelham. Interment will be at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
