PELHAM, N.Y. — Fannie Calgi, a resident of Pelham, died Thursday, March 26. She was 92.
Calgi was born to Marianna (nee Marinera) and Epifanio Vermiglio on Oct. 2, 1922, in New Haven, Conn. She attended local schools and married Rudolph D. Calgi on July 4, 1946.
She was predeceased by 11 of her 12 siblings. She is survived by her husband; children Marion Pizzutiello, Linda Cerreta and her husband, Michael, Barbara Nunziato and Frank, Kathleen DiMaggio and her husband, Steve, Angela Calarco, Rudolph L. Calgi and his wife, Bonnie, Donna Valente and her husband, John; 17 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews; and her sister Pauline Landino of New Haven.
Visiting hours will be Saturday and Sunday, March 28 and 29, from 4-9 p.m. at Lloyd Maxcy & Sons Beauchamp Chapel Inc., 16 Shea Place, New Rochelle.
A funeral Mass is set for Monday, March 30, at 10:30 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church.
Interment will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
