Eleanor Mary Frezzo, 84, Of Pelham

PELHAM, N.Y. -- Eleanor Mary Frezzo died Monday, Sept. 21. She was 84 years old. 

Born and raised in Pelham, she graduated from Pelham Memorial High School in 1947. 

She met her husband, Vincent Frezzo, in Mount Vernon, after his service in World War II; the two married in 1955. 

She worked for Chemical Bank in the Pelham branch office after graduating from Pelham Memorial High School. 

She raised four children, Paula, Vincent, Cindy and Lisa. 

She was a volunteer at St. Catharine's Church, as well as Pelham Memorial High School. 

She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Vincent Paul Frezzo, and her children Paula and Chris Courtien of Pelham; Vincent and Brendan Skislock of New York City and Bridgehampton; Cindy and Bobby Courtien of Pelham and Lisa Frezzo of White Plains. She also is survived by her grandchildren, Kristin, Stephanie, Rachel and Danel her great-granddaughter, Brooke; and a brother, Michael Rosanova.

A celebration of her life will be conducted from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday at the Pelham Funeral Home, 64 Lincoln Ave.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Church of St. Catharine, 25 Second Ave.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks a donation be made to The Church of St. Catharine in her name.
