Carmine A. Tenore, 87, Former Pelham Resident

LARCHMONT, N.Y. - Carmine A. Tenore, a longtime resident of Larchmont and former resident of Pelham, died Jan. 10. He was 87.

Tenore was born Nov. 21, 1926, in New Rochelle, to Gus and Nicolena (Tortorella) Tenore. He grew up in New Rochelle and served in the Army during World War II. After returning from the war he founded Tenore Electric Motors in New Rochelle which he operated for over 45 years.

Tenore is survived by his wife, Joan; sons, Gary Tenore and Ronald Tenore; daughter, Donna (Michael) Loprieno; two grandchildren; a great granddaughter; and brother, August Tenore.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 13 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Interment will follow.
