NEW ROCHELLE, N.Y. Motorists will need to drive carefully Thursday past road work on Route 1 near the New Rochelle-Pelham border.
Drivers must continue to merge into one lane on the north and southbound sides of the roadway, as they did Monday.
Cones have been set up to guide cars and other vehicles through the makeshift lane heading southbound past the Home Depot and Walgreens.
Conditions appeared to be back to normal at the end of Tuesdays workday, but workers had to continue construction Thursday.
