PELHAM, N.Y. A pick-up truck overturned on the Hutchinson River Parkway this afternoon, bringing southbound traffic to a complete standstill near the East Third Street exit.
According to Pelham Fire Departmet Lt. Julian Keiser, the vehicle skidded after 3 p.m. because of wet conditions, overturned and hit the guardrail.
The driver, a New Rochelle man, was out of his car before the Pelham Fire Department arrived on scene. He was not injured and refused medical attention.
Once emergency services responded to the scene, all traffic was squeezed into one lane. Traffic was back to normal less than an hour later when the vehicle was towed.
