Two Pelham runners crossed the finish line in the Boston Marathon on Monday before two explosions ended the race. According to the Boston Marathon results website, Jennifer Williams completed the race in 3:39.44 and Jennifer Darnell had a time of 3:37.19, finishing about a half-hour before the explosions occurred.

Actress Isabella Rossellini and director Benh Aeitlin were honored as the Pelham Picture House Regional Film Center holds its Big Night: The Picture House Spring Gala last Saturday at the Westchester Hilton.

Steven Garcia will be appointed the new assistant superintendent for curriculum, instruction and personnel for the Pelham Union Free School District, the district has announced. Garcia will be officially appointed at the Tuesday meeting of the Pelham Board of Education.
