The Pelham Picture House to Host Beatles Expert

PELHAM, N.Y. – The Pelham Picture House will be hosting a Beatles’ expert for a “multimedia presentation offering an in-depth look at the making of the Fab Four’s groundbreaking classic, ‘Revolver,’” said a press release announcing the event, which is titled "Tomorrow Never Knows: Deconstructing The Beatles’ Revolver.”

“The Beatles' 'Revolver' is a groundbreaking album that routinely tops "Best Album" lists,” said the press release. “In ‘Tomorrow Never Knows: Deconstructing The Beatles' Revolver, composer/producer and Beatles expert Scott Freiman takes music fans young and old on a journey through this remarkable album.”

Freiman created “Deconstructing The Beatles,” which is “a series of entertaining multimedia presentations about the composition and production techniques of the Beatles,” the press release said. “Using rare audio and video clips, as well as anecdotes about the creation of the songs, ‘Tomorrow Never Knows: Deconstructing The Beatles' Revolver,’ explores the groundbreaking production techniques that went into producing this landmark piece of music history.”

He has given two other presentations at the Picture House in which he draws “on numerous first-hand sources to walk audiences through detailed analyses of the songwriting and production techniques used by The Beatles.”

Freiman's "original music has been featured in award-winning films and has been played at Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall."

The Thursday event will take place at 7:30 p.m. and the cost is $12 at the door and $9 in advance. The senior/student/child cost is $10 at the door and $8 in advance while the Picture House member price is $6.
