Small Westchester Dam Draws Worldwide Attention Amid Iran Hacking Charges

RYE BROOK, N.Y. – In the wake of Thursday's indictments related to a 2013 cyberattack on the Bowman Avenue Dam, local residents and officials are still trying to make sense of the whole incident, according to the New York Times.

Seven Iranian hackers were indicted by the American government for taking control of the Bowman Dam via computer. 

Rye Brook Mayor Paul Rosenberg theorized the hackers confused Rye Brook's small Bowman with Colorado's much larger Bowman, or perhaps were practicing and may go for a major hydroelectric generator.
