This week, the Lost PETS of Westchester County Facebook group posted a new alert for Charlie, a 13-year-old German Shepherd and Pit Bull mix, who has been missing for eight weeks.

Charlie weighs more than 60 pounds and sports an orange and tan full fur coat. He was last seen by his family at approximately 4 a.m. on April 29 wearing a Marvel Avengers collar with ID tags on First Street near McLean Avenue in Yonkers.

On Thursday, his family said that they believe he "could be anywhere." A Facebook group has been started in an attempt to bring Charlie home.

"The search continues daily, with every lead investigated and phone call answered. (We) continue to search every day. Please don't forget about Charlie, and continue to share his photo far and wide."

As a senior dog, his owners have asked that if he is seen, not to chase him, to take a photo and call right away. Anyone with information regarding Charlie’s whereabouts can call Diana at (914) 469-1608.
