- The Archdiocese of New York, headed by Cardinal Timothy Dolan has announced it is planning another round of consolidation that will force some parishes to merge or close down all together, according to The Wall Street Journal.
- Students at New Rochelle High School were sent home early Wednesday after the district said it received a threatening phone call .
- The former general manager of the Rye Golf Club was arraigned on felony grand larceny charges Tuesday, according to the Westchester County District Attorney's Office.
- Administrators from Pelham Middle School presented a report to the Board of Education that looked at a wide range of “ authentic learning experiences ” that are grounded in the real world, are purposeful, provide the prerequisite foundation for high school and are reflective of the rapid developmental changes occurring in 10-14-year-old students.
