PELHAM, N.Y. – Pelham residents will be treated to business and excitement on Saturday, as they have the option to attend a school board meeting, a Pelham Art Center event and a play at Pelham Memorial.

- The Pelham Board of Education will meet at the Pelham Middle School Library on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. to discuss the 2012-13 preliminary budget. - The Pelham Art Center will host Damon Jackson for a free drum circle event on Saturday from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. Pelham Art Center Executive Director Lynn Honeysett is “thrilled” to be offering the event. Get your rhythm going with your fellow residents and reduce stress at the same time. Honeysett said that she has seen people get up and dance at previous drum circles and is hoping the same thing will happen at Saturday’s event.

- The Pelham Children’s Theater will put on the production of “Guys and Dolls Jr.” at 2 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday. The play will take place at Pelham Memorial High School and will feature the young actors and actresses of Pelham in a twist on the classic play.
