PELHAM, N.Y. The Village of Pelham announced important information about pickups of loose leaves and organic waste throughout the village. Village Administrator Robert Yamuder oversees organic waste and loose leaf pickup.
The loose leaf pickup season will start on Thursday, Mar. 15, according to the village governments website. The program will run until Apr. 30. Any leaves residents gather up on their property may be left loose at the curb for collection on a five day roving pickup schedule, according to the website.
The Village also asks residents to please look at the 2012 Village of Pelham Sanitation calendar or to call Village Hall at (914) 738-1015 for additional information and guidance.
Organic waste pickup day has been changed to Wednesday for Areas A and B and will begin on Wednesday, Apr. 4. Again, residents should call Village Hall with questions.
