Pelham Village Board To Discuss Disaster Contract Tuesday

PELHAM, N.Y. – The Pelham Village Board is expected to vote Tuesday on a contract with the state Office of Emergency Management that would help prevent flooding on certain village streets.

The contract would focus on Seventh Avenue beginning at the intersection of Sixth Street.

Other items on the agenda include: an agreement with the county to train village police officers, and to share instructors with the county police academy.

There will also be a public hearing on proposed changes to the village’s commercial zoning code.

The board will also schedule another public hearing as the village continues talks about its master plan for the future.

The board meets at 7:30 p.m. in Village Hall, 195 Sparks Ave.
