PELHAM, N.Y. The six members of the Pelham Board of Trustees were assigned liaison positions with community departments and issues by Mayor Ed Hotchkiss at Tuesday night's meeting .
Deputy Mayor Geoff Lewis was appointed to serve as the police department commissioner, community liaison for parking issues, liaison for village communications and chairperson of the commercial zoning review committee.
Newly elected trustee Adam Kagan will serve as liaison to the administration office staff, employee benefits matters and the chamber of commerce.
Trustee Susan Marciona was appointed to serve as the community liaison for flooding issues and chairperson of the village tree committee.
Trustee Joe Marty, who won his bid for reelection, will continue in his role as fire department commissioner in addition to serving as chairperson of the Boston & Westchester Site Committee and community liaison for village technology and automation.
Trustee Paul McGoldrick, who won election for the first time after first being appointed by the mayor, will serve as public works department commissioner, the liaison to the building department and land use committees, and chairperson of the site plan review committee.
Trustee Laura Morris will serve as community liaison for sanitation services, environmental issues, farmers market and parks and open space issues.
