PELHAM, N.Y. The Sept. 11 memorial on Harmon Avenue received a few new flowers this past weekend in honor of the tenth anniversary of the terrorist attacks that took nearly 3,000 lives.
A red, white and blue wreath adorns the memorial next to the inscribed granite wall. A single flower, and in some cases a bouquet, rests on top of the individual memorial stones inscribed with the names of the 10 victims from Pelham who passed away in the attacks. A tenth anniversary card also decorates the stones.
