PELHAM, N.Y. - Police were called to Huntington Elementary School on Monday to investigate a damaged gate in the parking lot.
Wooden sticks had been jammed into the lock of the gate sometime over the weekend, police said, making it difficult to unlock. A custodian at Huntington alerted police to the damage. The bar that holds the gate closed was also broken.
The following items were also reported in the Pelham Police blotter:
-A motor vehicle accident occurred on Monday at 12:20 p.m. on Colonial Avenue. Police responded to the accident, which had caused injuries.
-A woman reported her Visa debit card stolen after she was unable to purchase an item while out of the house. After calling Green Dot Visa, she filed a police report because the company told her that her debit card was used to purchase $500 worth of items at a Babies R Us in Pennsylvania.
