PELHAM, N.Y. Pelham police intervened Sunday night in an argument between a man and woman about their son.
A woman told police her ex-boyfriend came to pick up his son and an argument ensued and then escalated, according to the police report. The woman, who became upset and did not want the father to take the child, said the man then threw bags onto the sidewalk.
The man told police he came to pick up the child and began to argue about his son with the woman. He said they fought because he was not allowed to take the child and then took his bags and other items out of the car and placed them on the sidewalk.
Police sent the man on his way and put the woman in a cab with the child and sent her home.

-A sergeant in the Pelham Police Department reported on Sunday morning that someone egged a car at some point between 8 p.m. Saturday and 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Officers saw the roof and drivers side of a 2006 Toyota Sienna and a 2010 Honda Civic covered in egg. Police left a green card on the windshield of the Honda Civic to inform the driver to contact the Pelham Police Department.
