Pelham Police Help Woman Injured During Exercise

PELHAM, N.Y. – Police and paramedics helped a woman Tuesday who fell while exercising.

Police reports said the woman had a towel and ice pack on her head. She told officers that she slipped and fell while exercising, which caused a small cut to her head and bruises on both knees. Paramedics checked her and transported her to Sound Shore Medical Center.

 The following items were also reported in the Pelham police blotter:

- Two males were spotted sitting in a Mercedes-Benz on Wednesday at 9:25 p.m. and one of them urinated on the street, police said. Officers were dispatched to the scene, but the vehicle left before their arrival. The investigation is still open.

- A motor vehicle accident occurred behind the DeCicco’s Food Market on Wednesday at 2:45 p.m. An officer responded to the scene.

- A hit and run occurred on Lincoln Avenue on Tuesday at 9 a.m. Police said officers responded to the call but the car had already fled the scene.
