PELHAM, N.Y. The owner of a 2008 Jeep Wrangler told Pelham police Saturday about damages to the car, according to the police report.
The owner was driving around town between 9 a.m. and 1:55 p.m. when someone allegedly caused deep scratches to the front and rear passenger doors at some point during that time span, though the owner was not certain of the specific time.
Police examined the car and determined that the scratches were each approximately one foot long and apparently caused by a blunt object.
Also on the blotter:
- A Pelham resident called police early Sunday morning to report a large, suspicious box in the middle of the street. Police determined that the box was a dumpster container and that the address to which it was connected had a valid village permit for it.
