Pelham Manor Police Help Two Elderly Citizens

PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. – Pelham Manor police helped two elderly citizens who fell on Monday. Officers helped an elderly man who tripped on a curb and injured his left knee and forehead shortly after 8:30 a.m. Monday. An ambulance transported the man to Sound Shore Medical Center for treatment. Police also helped an elderly woman who fell in the shower and could not get up. Officers arrived at her home at approximately 10:30 a.m. to find her sitting on the bathroom floor. She told officers that she lost her footing and fell but did not complain about any injuries, according to the police report. Police helped her to her feet and sat her on a couch. She refused to go to the hospital.
