Pelham Manor PD Aids Woman With Ailing Heart

PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. – Two Pelham Manor officers responded to a Timpson Street resident’s house at 5:19 p.m. Tuesday after she called 911 because she thought she might be suffering a heart attack. Upon arrival, the complainant stated she was suffering from tightness in her chest, lower back pains and thought she might be having a panic attack. Her condition was monitored until the paramedics arrived and she was then transported to Sound Shore Medical Center for more testing.

Also on the blotter:

- The Pelham Manor Police Department was notified by state officials at 3:40 a.m. Tuesday that they would be conducting a vehicle repossession. The vehicle being repossessed was a gray 2008 Acura MDX. It was retrieved without incident.

- A woman running down Esplanade at 11:33 a.m. Tuesday called 911 because she said a black male was following her while she was jogging. The caller wished to remain anonymous and reported the incident approximately 20 minutes after it happened. The woman was jogging down Esplanade, turned around at Grant, and observed the man hiding behind a tree on the Pelhamdale Avenue side of the intersection. The complainant said the male seemed to try and hide more when he noticed she could see him. At one point, he said, “hey sexy” to the woman. She ignored him and nothing more occurred. A police officer was sent to check the area after being alerted of the incident, but the suspect was gone on arrival.
