PELHAM, N.Y. The construction under the railroad overpass on Fifth Avenue led to this stream and large puddle of water farther along Wolfs Lane.
The water was pumped out onto the street as workers dug into the earth to the water main below the street. The water flowed down the street but pooled on the sidewalk in front of the empty lot on Wolfs Lane near First Street.
The Joken Construction crew declined to comment.
