Joseph Felice and Robert Borrelli are suing the department for unspecified compensation for the shooting that occurred on April 28, 2014, in which Brendan Cronin, then 27, shot his NYPD-issued gun 14 times into a stopped car in Pelham, with six of the shots hitting Felice while he was on his way home from hockey practice, according to the report.
Borrelli, who was not shot, rushed Felice to the hospital, says lohud.
The lawsuit states that Cronin told investigators he drank 10 drinks at a bar with his supervisor before the shooting, reports lohud.
