PELHAM, N.Y. More car break-ins occurred in Pelham earlier this week, in addition to the crimes on Iden Avenue and Wolfs Lane in Pelham Manor.
A woman contacted the Pelham Police Department to inform them that someone had broken into her car. She said she left the car in her driveway on Sunday night and on Monday morning she found the contents of her glove compartment spilled onto the passenger seat. Only three dollars in quarters had been stolen.
A man also told police later that day that someone broke into his car in a similar manner. The vehicle was in his driveway Sunday night and Monday morning he found the items in the glove compartment emptied onto the passenger seat and five dollars in quarters missing.
Break-ins of a similar style occurred in Pelham Manor earlier in the week.
