WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert for the 81-year-old New York City man authorities believed had traveled to Putnam County has been canceled after the man was located in Connecticut.

Marshall Kaplan was located in Southington, Conn., Saturday afternoon and is safe, according to authorities.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Missing Vulnerable Adult Alert has been issued for an 81-year-old man last seen at noon on Friday who is believed to have traveled to Cold Spring in Putnam County, according to the New York State Divisional of Criminal Justice Services.

Marshall Kaplan of New York City was at his residence on Amsterdam Avenue the last time he was sighted. He was driving a 2012 green Toyota Prius with New York registration AHX-2237. He may appear confused or disorientated and may be in need of medical attention.

He is 5-foot-8, 140 pounds with gray hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information, should immediately call (800) 577-8477 or 911.

The alert includes Westchester, Putnam, Rockland, Columbia, Dutchess, Greene, Orange, Sullivan and Ulster counties as well as New York City and Nassau County.
