Metro-North experienced delays on all three lines Friday evening due to congestion caused by an earlier track condition requiring attention in Grand Central Terminal.
There were delays of 20 minutes at 7:30 p.m. on the Harlem and New Haven Lines and delays of 15 minutes on the Hudson Line.
Normal service was restored on the New Haven and Hudson lines by 8:15 p.m., with delays ending on the Harlem Line by 9:30 p.m.
Customers were advised to listen for announcements at local stations.
