PELHAM, N.Y. -- Here are some of the stories that topped the news in Pelham this week:
- A 43-year-old man was hit by a Metro-North train and killed just south of the Hartsdale train station in an apparent suicide, according to Metro-North Railroad spokeswoman Marjorie Anders.
- Surveillance camera footage of two suspects who robbed Blue Dog Wine and Spirits in Pelham and stole two bottles of liquor and money from the cash register was released. New York Crime Stoppers and the Village of Pelham are offering a $2,500 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
- Harrison police arrested a contractor who has been accused of scamming clients in the tri-state area out of more than $1 million over the course of nine years.
- The Pelham boys soccer team fell to Section 9 champion Goshen 2-1 in overtime of the Class A regional final on Saturday, according to LoHud.com.
