Four Men Allegedly Steal $2,700 Worth of Red Bull

PELHAM MANOR, N.Y. – Four men allegedly stole more than $2,500 of Red Bull on Tuesday morning from a delivery truck in the rear lot of the Fairway Market on Pelham Parkway.

Pelham Manor police responded to a call from the security guard at the market just before 10:30 a.m. The guard said he saw a suspicious man by the entrance get into his car and speed away.

He then noticed the door to the Red Bull delivery truck open and went to ask the delivery man if he had left it that way. When the guard found the driver, they went to the truck and noticed the cases were missing and called the police.

The delivery man and his helper took inventory of the truck and determined that 76 cases worth about $2,700 had been stolen. Surveillance showed four men, who appeared to be Hispanic, loading the cases into a brown Toyota Camry with no hubcaps, according to the police report.

They transferred the cases from the passenger side sliding door of the Ford Econoline delivery truck and then fled toward Pelham Parkway. A witness described a brown Toyota with a loud muffler that possibly drove toward Boston Post Road, but police found nothing when they canvassed the area.

Police took statements from witnesses and a copy of the surveillance footage was given to the detective division.
