Pelham Residents, Change Clocks As Daylight-Saving Time Ends

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Daylight-saving time may be much easier for people with devices that automatically reset, however Westchester County residents must remember to set back all old-fashioned clocks late Saturday night or the first thing on Sunday morning.

Don't forget to change your clocks for the end of daylight-saving time at 2 a.m Sunday.

At 2 a.m., Sunday, Nov. 2, daylight-saving time ends and clocks should be set back one hour. In fall, everyone gets an extra hour for sleep or to do whatever they want.  Fire departments remind residents that this is a good time to check smoke and carbon monoxide detectors and change their batteries.  It's recommended that consumers test each smoke alarm in their home every month to make sure it is working properly and change batteries at least once a year.
