Con Edison Crews Working In Pelham Thursday

PELHAM, N.Y. – Four bucket trucks and additional utility equipment were out in Pelham Thursday repairing lingering damage to transformers, equipment and wires from Hurricane Sandy, village officials said.

Crews were at Wolfs Lane, the Boulevard, Highbrook and Lincoln avenues before moving to Harmon, Highbrook, Loring and Pelhamdale avenues among other outage locations in the village, officials said.

The village expected to receive replacement transformers from the county and install them Thursday.

Verizon is also assisting Con Ed in replacing damaged utility poles across the village.

Village Administrator Robert Yamuder is in regular contact with Con Edison to maintain keep the utility up to date on outage locations.
