- A six-month sting operation involving police from Greenburgh, Yonkers, White Plains and Rye Brook led to the arrest of 28 people in Westchester and Rockland Counties on prostitution and promotion of prostitution charges in connection with the Super Bowl , according to LoHud.com.
- Interstate 84 in New York , which had been closed from the Pennsylvania to Connecticut border since 6:30 a.m. Wednesday by order of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, has reopened.
- New Rochelle residents continue to be affected by Saturday’s fire on Pelham Road that displaced 75 and injured several firefighters.
- Iona College’sBoard of Trustees approved a new campus master plan focused on academic facilities, student housing and athletics, it was announced last week.
