With its low-key atmosphere and tasty offerings, Rockwells American Restaurant has become a popular place for Pelham residents to grab a great meal with good friends.
I have been coming here every weekend for the past three years and every time I do it just gets better and better, said Alison Chapman. I try to get a different meal as often as I can but I am a sucker for their cheeseburgers.
Pelham locals enjoy the restaurants friendly and multiple televisions to take in sporting events. Fans come by the dozens to watch games, have a cold beer or two and cheer on their team with others.
My best friend and I love coming here during baseball season, the only problem is we usually end up fighting, said Tony Acacella. He is a Red Sox fan and Im a die- hard Yankees fan, the two just dont mix well.
Despite some tension during rivalry games, Rockwells inviting nature gives residents a place to hang out on a mellow Friday night.
I dont normally come here during the weekends because there are a lot of younger people, Steven Miller explained. I come during my lunch hour from work or when family comes to visit from out of town.
