PELHAM, N.Y. - Francine E. Andreoli, a longtime resident of Pelham, died Feb. 5 at the age of 52.
She was born in New York City on June 7, 1959 to the late Peter D. Andreoli and Catherine F. Andreoli. A graduate of the School of the Holy Child in Rye in 1977, she graduated from Lehigh University in 1981 and obtained a post-graduate certificate in paralegal studies.
Andreoli worked in the criminal appeals bureau and as a union representative of the Legal Aid Society in New York City from 1986 to 2005, when she became disabled due to complications from diabetes.
A volunteer for a suicide crisis hot line, Andreoli also spent time providing care for her mother as primary caregiver for her nephews Michael and Kevin Cannella.
She is survived by her mother Catherine, her brothers Peter and Brian, her sisters Christine and Catherine, a sister-in-law and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends at Pelham Funeral Home from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Friday. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home at 10 a.m. on Saturday, followed by interment at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne.
