Pelham Civic Association Honors Persons Of Year

PELHAM, N.Y. -- The Pelham Civic Association recently honored Anthony and Jeanette Senerchia and Ken Shirreffs as "2015 Persons of the Year" at its annual dinner dance gala.

The association assists youth, seniors, and people with financial needs, and physical and mental challenges.

Jeanette and Anthony Senerchia have worked to raise awareness of ALS and were directly responsible for the world-renowned “Ice Bucket Challenge". In addition, they established The Anthony Senerchia Jr. Charitable Foundation, a non-profit foundation dedicated to assisting underprivileged families suffering from ALS. 

Ken Shirreffs is a long-time member of the Pelham Civic Association, a member of the association's board of directors, and one of the chairmen of the Needy Cases/Good Neighbor.
