American Jewish World Service President To Speak At Pelham Temple

PELHAM, N.Y. - Ruth Messinger, president of the American Jewish World Service, will speak Saturday morning at the Pelham Jewish Center.

Messinger will discuss "Jews As Global Citizens" and "Fighting Hunger in a World of Plenty." She was the Democratic nominee for mayor of New York City in 1997, losing to incumbent Mayor Rudy Giuliani.

She will speak during morning services Saturday at 9:30 a.m. The Pelham Jewish Center is located at 452 Esplanade.
