All classes will take place at The Picture House’s historic 1921 theater and the new Satellite Film Lab, 175 Wolfs Lane, Pelham.
Each day, children will work with a film industry professional and learn the different aspects of animation, from stop-motion, to claymation, to LEGO animation. They will create short animated films and two weeks later, parents will receive a link to their final product. Half- and full-day options are available.
A half day runs from 9 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and costs $75 (daily rate) or $300 (weekly rate). A full day runs from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. and costs $125 (daily rate) or $480 (weekly rate). Members at the family level or higher receive a 10 percent discount on all education classes and camps.
Enrollment is currently open online at www.thepicturehouse.org, by calling 914-738-3161, or by emailing education@thepicturehouse.org.
