Pelham Ranked As One Of New York's Most Successful Cities

PELHAM, N.Y. -- The career resource website Zippia recently analyzed all municipalities in New York with more than 5,000 residents and came up with a list of the 10 most successful cities in the Empire State -- and both Pelham and Pelham Manor made the list.

The site analyzed the locales' poverty level, median household income and unemployment rate to rank them. Pelham Manor came in at second, and Pelham made eighth place.

Of the 10 locations at the top of Zippia's list, six of them are in Westchester County. Besides Pelham and Pelham Manor, they include Irvington, Scarsdale, Rye and Briarcliff Manor.

The remaining four rounding out the list are Lawrence, North Hills, Garden City and Sea Cliff.
