Pelham Picture House To Showcase Live Music From Films

PELHAM, N.Y. – In celebration of movie awards season, The Picture House in Pelham is showcasing an all-ages live music and audiovisual show, “Songs That Made The Movies,” at 7:30 p.m. March 8.

Oscar-nominated songs – from musicals of the 1930s and '40s through today – will be showcased at the event.

Pelham musical group Mary and The Boys will be joined on stage by guest performers, adults and teens, bringing to life classic movie tunes, including “I’ve Got You Under My Skin,” “Moon River,”  “Mrs. Robinson,” “Pretty Woman,” “Man of Constant Sorrow” and “Live and Let Die.”

Prior to each iconic song, an audiovisual commentary will shed light on the movie it came from, including information on the stars, directors, singers and songwriters.

Admission is free for members, $20 for general admission and $10 for children. Reservations for all, including members, are strongly recommended to secure a seat. Tickets can be purchased online or in person.
