EASTCHESTER, N.Y. ? It is nothing short of a journey to vanquish breast cancer, but you can make strides against it by taking just a few small steps. First, to a fundraising dinner at 6:30 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 20, at Angelinas Ristorante, 97 Lake Ave., in Tuckahoe.
Then, at the 2012 Making Strides Against Cancer Walk Westchester County on Sunday, Oct. 21, at 9 a.m. at Manhattanville College in Purchase.
The dinner will be hosted by Eastchesters New Image Laser and Med Spa. A $25 per-person donation will not only buy you dinner and a T-shirt, but also assure your place on New Images Making Strides team for the October road race.
Ive been participating in the walk for 17 of the 20 years its been in existence, said New Image Laser and Med Spas CEO Marina Bonci. It gets bigger and better every year, and our team Artusos Angels has raised thousands and thousands of dollars to support cancer research.
