Friday, Sept. 14
New Rochelle Farmers Market: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Purchase fresh produce and baked goods and see cooking demonstrations at this weekly market, which continues through the fall. New Rochelle Public Library Green, One Library Plaza.
Saturday, Sept. 15
New Rochelle Public Library Open: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The library resumes its fall hours. New Rochelle Public Library. One Library Plaza.
Pelham Womens AA: 9 to 11 a.m. The Alcoholics Anonymous meeting will take place at Christ Church, 1415 Pelhamdale Ave., Pelham.
Sunday, Sept. 16
New Rochelle Big Read Kickoff: 12 to 5 p.m. Mexican talent including painters, photographers, artisans and dancers, and mariachis help the New Rochelle Public Library kickoff its Big Read event for the book Sun, Stone, and Shadows: Twenty Great Mexican Short Stories. Children will be able to make arts and crafts. Food will also be available. New Rochelle Public Library Green. One Library Plaza.

Pelham Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The first-year Pelham Farmers Market offers produce, breads, pastry, wine and specialty products. Harmon Avenue off Fifth Avenue, Pelham.
