Friday, Oct. 5

New Rochelle Farmers Market: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Purchase fresh produce and baked goods and see cooking demonstrations at this weekly market, which continues through the fall. New Rochelle Public Library green, One Library Plaza, New Rochelle.

Lane Bryant Pelham Manor Grand Opening: 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Customers will receive 40 percent off the entire store during the grand opening for Lane Bryant's Pelham Store. Lane Bryant, 865 Pelham Parkway, Pelham Manor.

Saturday, Oct. 6

Friends of the New Rochelle Public Library Book Store: 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Customers can find books and other items at bargain prices at this bi-weekly book store. New Rochelle Public Library, One Library Plaza, New Rochelle.

New Rochelle Garage Sale: 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Residents can shop for household and Christmas items, costumes, jewelry and more at this garage sale. 30 Rhodes St., New Rochelle.

Pelham Women’s AA: 9 to 11 a.m. This Alcoholics Anonymous meeting takes place at Christ Church, 1415 Pelhamdale Ave., Pelham.

Sunday, Oct. 7

New Rochelle Public Library Closed: All day. The New Rochelle Public Library is closed.

Pelham Farmers Market: 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The Pelham Farmers Market offers produce, breads, pastry, wine and specialty products. Harmon Avenue off Fifth Avenue, Pelham.

Monday, Oct. 8

Holiday closings: New Rochelle Public Library, New Rochelle City Hall,Town of Pelham Hall, Town of Pelham Public Library, Pelham Public Schools, Village of Pelham Hall and Village of Pelham Manor Building will be closed for the holiday.
