Friday, April 12

Friday Nite Live: 7 to 9 p.m. Pelham Middle School will host this event for sixth-graders in the gym. 28 Franklin Place, Pelham.

Saturday, April 13

Little League Parade: 9 a.m. The Little League season opens in Pelham with a parade, team pictures and the first games. Joe Solimine will be grand marshal of the parade that starts at the Pelham Art Center and proceeds to Ingalls Field. Afterward, a free baseball movie will be show for the kids at The Picture House.

Kinetic Sports Club Open House: 10 a.m. to noon. The whole family is invited to meet the coaches, take part in a variety of games and activities and tour the new sports club. 'Ghost Army' special screening: 5 p.m. The Picture House in Pelham will host a special screening of "The Ghost Army," a documentary that tells the tale of American GIs who tricked the enemy with carefully crafted illusions during World War II. Filmmaker Rick Beyer and Ghost Army veteran Richard Syracuse, 90, of Pelham will attend. Tickets are $20 for students and veterans and $25 for the general public.
