“We are thrilled that Picnic in the Park has become a hallmark event that so many from Pelham and the surrounding communities look forward to as they usher in the start of the school year and a new season,” said Laura deBuys, executive director of The Picture House. “We’re extremely grateful to everyone the Committee and all of our guests for their commitment to a wonderful evening supporting one of Westchester’s true cultural treasures.”
Picnic in the Park will take place at the theater on 175 Wolfs Lane and in a tent across the street. The event will begin with popcorn, cocktails, dinner by Alvin and Friends and an exclusive screening of "Mississippi Grind" starring Ryan Reynolds. A raffle, live auction and dancing under the stars will follow the film screening.
Tickets for Picnic in the Park start at $125 per person and increase to $150 on Sept. 1. Purchase tickets online at www.thepicturehouse.org or by calling (914)-738-3161.
